The Birth of a Solution
As with all great advancements, Boat Club Manager was created
from a need. Our club had expanded beyond our ability to manually
manage the reservations, customer support & fleet reports.
With well over 50 reservations being made each week and our
staff having to manually enter all reservations, the club
and marina was overwhelmed.
The primary issue was the sheer number of calls. We calculated
that on average each reservation took three support calls;
making, verifying, editing and/or canceling the reservation.
That would equate to 3900 calls in the last six months alone.
Our solution was to utilize the technology that over 75%
of Americans have access to, the Internet. We created an internet
based solution that gives our members the ability to manage
their reservations directly from any internet enabled computer.
This feature alone has allowed us to focus our attention on
customer service and expanding our member base.
After over a year of live testing with more than 120 members
& hundreds of real reservations, we are now ready to offer
this solution, "Boat Club Manager" to the public.
